tipped in a missed shot with 1.3 seconds remaining to lift 12th-ranked Richard Stockton (18-2, 6-1) to a 60-58 victory over Rutgers-Camden (4-15, 0-8). Massaquoi led a quartet of double digit scorers with a career-high 17 points. Michael Farrow (Whitesboro/Middle Twp.) was Stockton’s second leading scorer, tallying 13 points while Santini Lancioni (Runnemede/Paul VI) and Jerome Hubbard (Neptune/ Neptune) notched 12 points apiece.

On its final possession, Rutgers-Camden hit one of two free throws for a 58-58 tie with 20 seconds remaining. Stockton called timeout and ran a play for Farrow who drove to the hoop with time winding down but could not connect on an off-balance jumper. Massaquoi followed with a tip-in that gave Stockton its sixth consecutive win as the Ospreys survived a spirited effort from Rutgers-Camden.

Neither team led by more than six points in a close game that featured 11 ties. Stockton jumped out to a 6-0 lead that was the largest margin of the first half. After eight lead changes, the teams were tied 29-29 at the break. In the second half, Rutgers-Camden went up 47-42 with 10:47 to play, but Massaquoi hit three free throws during a 6-0 spurt that put the Ospreys back on top 48-47.

Stockton trailed 49-48 until Lancioni and Massaquoi scored four points apiece during a 10-3 run that resulted in a 58-52 lead for the Ospreys with 2:24 on the clock. Rutgers-Camden knotted the game with six straight points as Stockton did not score again until the last-second putback by Massaquoi, who tallied 13 of his team’s 31 second-half points in the 60-58 win.
