#10 Stockton 70, Kean 66 (OT)

10th-ranked Richard Stockton (20-2, 9-1) clinched first place in the NJAC South by edging Kean (11-11, 4-6) 70-66 in overtime for its eighth consecutive win. Santini Lancioni (Runnemede/Paul VI) shot a perfect 10-10 at the line and scored a game-high 20 points. Kai Massaquoi (Lawnside/Haddon Hts.) finished with 15 points, a team-high seven rebounds and four assists in a solid all-around effort. Jerome Hubbard (Neptune/ Neptune) played all 45 minutes and hit four three-pointers for 12 points.

Stockton led 46-34 after two free throws by Massaquoi with 16:37 on the clock, but Kean rallied with a 16-2 run and pulled ahead 50-48. Lancioni hit a three-pointer with 8:31 remaining to put the Ospreys on top 53-52, and they held a slim lead until Kean sank the game-tying three-pointer with just five seconds left in regulation to force overtime at 59-59.

Stockton began OT with layups by Massaquoi and Michael Farrow (Whiteside/Middle Twp.) for a 63-59 lead and the Ospreys stayed ahead the rest of the way. Kean pulled within two points on three occasions, but Stockton answered each with a pair of free throws. Lancioni sealed the 70-66 win by sinking two charity tosses with nine seconds left.

In the first half, Stockton went 7-13 (53.8%) from three-point range and led by as much as 14 after trailing by five in the opening minutes. Hubbard hit four three-pointers for 12 first-half points and the Ospreys used an 18-5 run to help build a 36-26 lead at intermission.
