10th-ranked Richard Stockton (23-2, 12-1) set the stage for the upcoming NJAC tournament with a 78-63 win over Rutgers-Camden (6-19, 1-12) in the regular season finale. Kai Massaquoi (Lawnside/Haddon Hts.) led the Ospreys to their 11th straight win with a career-high 24 points and 10 rebounds for his first double-double. Jerome Hubbard (Neptune/Neptune) scored 16 points, followed by Omar Smith (Newark/Central) with 11 points and Santini Lancioni (Runnemede/Paul VI) with 10 points.

Massaquoi poured in 16 of Stockton’s first 20 points of the game and the Ospreys outscored Rutgers-Camden 23-6 over the final eight minutes of the half for a commanding 38-24 lead at the break. Massaquoi began the onslaught by scoring five consecutive points to put Stockton on top 20-16. Hubbard then took control of the offense and tallied 12 of the Ospreys’ last 18 points of the period on two three-pointers and two three-point plays.

Rutgers-Camden opened the second half with a 9-2 run that shaved the Stockton lead down to 40-35 before Lancioni halted the spurt with a three-pointer for an eight-point advantage (43-35). The Ospreys led by at least eight points over the next nine minutes and then pulled away down the stretch. Smith hit a layup with 4:04 to play that gave Stockton its biggest lead of the game at 73-55 and the Ospreys coasted to the 78-63 win.
