Senior goalkeeper Anthony Pompei (Hamilton/Hamilton West) was selected the NJAC Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the Ospreys.

Gibney and Hines pumped in three goals apiece for a pair of hat tricks to lead Stockton to a 6-2 victory over New Jersey City on Saturday. Gibney netted her first three tallies of the season while Hines scored the first three goals of her college career. Both players added an assist in the match while Gibney also collected two helpers in Stockton’s 5-0 win over St. Joseph’s-L.I. on September 16 to finish with nine points in two games.

Gibney stands tied for the team lead with four assists and she also has three goals for 10 points in eight games this season. Hines has three goals and an assist on the year, with all seven points coming against NJCU on Saturday.

Pompei posted a pair of shutouts as Stockton extended its winning streak to four games. The senior goalie needed just one save to post a shutout in the Ospreys’ 3-0 whitewash of NYU on September 16. Pompei then registered three saves in a 6-0 domination of New Jersey City on Saturday for his third consecutive shutout. He has not allowed a goal in his last 275 minutes, and he ranks second in the NJAC in save percentage (.864).
