DUARTE NAMED NJAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK |
 Richard Stockton junior forward Rafael Duarte (Ocean City/ Ocean City) was named the NJAC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Duarte tallied three goals, including the game-winner in each match, plus one assist for seven points to lead the Ospreys to two NJAC victories last week. Duarte now has scored five goals in the last three games.
Duarte netted the game-winning goal just 1:40 into overtime to give the Ospreys a 2-1 victory over Rutgers-Camden on September 23. He then scored Stockton’s first two goals and added an assist in a 4-1 triumph over Ramapo on Saturday. Despite missing three games due to injury, Duarte leads the Ospreys with six goals and has two assists for 14 points, which is tied for the team scoring lead. Stockton has won six consecutive games and posted an 8-1 overall record. |
