Boxscore Dougherty struck quickly as she dribbled past a defender and buried a shot into the top left corner to give Stockton a 1-0 lead just 5:48 after the opening kickoff. Shelley Gibney (Shamong/ Seneca) assisted on the marker. Salisbury responded with a goal on a free kick that sailed high into the net at 19:13. Just 10 minutes later, Pocoroba scored the eventual game-winner, assisted by Kiera Hines (Deptford/Deptford), at 29:13. The Ospreys protected their 2-1 lead for the next 60 minutes and limited Salisbury to just eight shots after the Sea Gulls registered eight shots in the first 30 minutes of play. |
