Boxscore Wesley scored twice in the first half and twice more in the first seven minutes of the second half for a seemingly insurmountable 4-0 lead. Huff ignited Stockton’s comeback with his first goal at 55:50 and then another, with an assist by Reilley, just 29 seconds later to cut Wesley’s lead in half. Only eight minutes passed before Reilley netted his second goal of the season to pull the Ospreys within 4-3. The three Stockton markers came in a span of just 8:51. Huff completed Stockton’s rally from the four-goal deficit with his third tally of the game and seventh of the season at 78:21, producing a 4-4 tie. Wesley registered the only two shots of overtime, the second of which found the back of the net to deal Stockton the 5-4 defeat. |
