FIVE OSPREYS NAMED NJAC ALL-CONFERENCE
Duarte Chosen NJAC Offensive Player of the Year

Richard Stockton junior Rafael Duarte (Ocean City/Ocean City) was named NJAC Offensive Player of the Year and voted to the NJAC All-Conference First Team, his third all-league selection and second consecutive First Team honor. Duarte also was the NJAC Rookie of the Year and NJAC Second Team in 2007. He currently leads the Ospreys with 10 goals, including a team-high four game-winners, plus three assists for a team-best 23 points.

Joining Duarte on the NJAC First Team was Sean Nelson (Toms River/TR South). Nelson, a junior midfielder, has four goals and six assists for 14 points, and it is his first all-conference selection. Sean McCallum (Vineland/Vineland) and Brennen Fitzsimmons (Neptune/Neptune) were named to the NJAC Second Team. Sophomore Sal Pistone (Blackwood/ Highland) was chosen NJAC Honorable Mention, his first all-conference selection.

McCallum, the NJAC Rookie of the Year in 2006, was voted to his fourth consecutive NJAC Second Team. The senior forward is second on the team with eight goals and 22 points. Fitzsimmons, the 2008 NJAC Rookie of the Year, has led a defense that has eight shutouts on the season. The sophomore back also has scored three goals. Pistone has netted three goals and dished one assists for seven points while also helping to anchor the defense for the Ospreys.
