ALEXANDER & WILLIAMS EARN NJAC ALL-CONFERENCE WOMEN’S TENNIS HONORS

Richard Stockton seniors Christy Alexander (Centerville, IN/ Centerville) and Kelli Williams (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) were named to the NJAC All-Conference Women’s Tennis Team in both singles and doubles. Alexander posted a 7-5 singles record in dual matches, including a 3-2 mark in NJAC play. Williams led Stockton with 14 singles wins, registering a 14-4 overall record and a 4-1 mark in conference matches.

Alexander and Williams also formed Stockton’s top doubles team and went 9-4 overall and 4-1 in NJAC matches. The Ospreys finished the fall season at 9-3 overall and 3-2 in the NJAC, good for third place in the league. Alexander collected NJAC All-Conference honors for the second time apiece in singles and doubles after previously earning both honors in 2007. Williams was voted to the NJAC All-Conference Team for the first time in her career.

Alexander and Williams are both four-year letter winners at Stockton. Alexander boasts career records of 51-28 in singles and 47-22 in doubles while Williams has recorded career marks of 46-23 in singles and 33-14 in doubles for the Ospreys.
