The resource site for Marine and Environmental Science Courses

Welcome...

The Marine and Environmental Resources Project (MERP) site has been designed to provide a platform for the support of the field and laboratory components of selected science courses offered at the Marine Science and Environmental Field Station.

The site contains instructional and informational modules designed that supplement portions of these courses and provide a web-based area for sharing information. The site is divided into components based on subject area. Navigation to each of these areas is available throughout the site by utilizing the common links on the left-side of the page.

Links to the Marine Field Station page provide an overview of the facility and current research projects. The field trip preparation module provides information for those students that will be engaging in field work via research vessels. Information on boating safety and appropriate dress will be complemented by a safety lecture at the beginning of each semester. The instructional modules serve as an area where students can review various areas of study, including a section on writing technical reports, a common practice to most of the supported courses.

If your professor has chosen to utilize this site as a repository for course information you may access this through the appropriate listing (marine science or environmental science courses).
