
Q1. Does the College recommend Consultant(s) to team up with or is there an Architectural or
Engineering firm that the College prefers?
A1. The College will not make any recommendations on the preferred consultants. Each A/E firm is to
create a team that they consider the best team for the project.
Q2. Where will the Briefing meeting be held?
A2. The Richard Stockton College Mandatory Briefing will be held at a location as specified in the RFP.

Q3. Is the Briefing Mandatory?
A3. Yes, the Briefing Meeting is mandatory; failure to attend the meeting is cause for disqualification.
Q4. Can I have list of the consultants and teams that have indicated an interest to submit proposals
to the College?
A4. The list of interested designers will only be provided after the Mandatory Meeting and will be posted
at this website as an attachment.
Q5. If the Design Consultant is submitting a Bid, is he/she to include the Sub- Consultants’ RFP Legal
Document listed on the Bid Checklist?
A5. Only the party with whom the College will have a direct contractual agreement is to submit the
required legal documents. However, the College expects the Consultants and any Sub-Consultants
to abide with all Federal, State and local laws and regulations as well as have State of New Jersey
Business Registration Certificates. Additionalregistration information is available through the New
Jersey Division of Revenue at http://www.state.nj.us/treasury/revenue/.
Q6. How do I get to College?
A6. The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey is located in Southern New Jersey, approximately 11
miles outside of Atlantic City, off the Garden State Parkway at Exit 44 (from the North). Directions to
the College and a map of the campus can be accessed through the College’s website at

Q7. Where do I park and is a parking permit required?
A7. Visitors can park at the College’s Parking Lots #1, #2, #3, #4, or #5.
Q8. What is the project budget for the Project?
A8. Part of Phase I of this project is for the Selected Designer to assist the College in establishing the
Project Budget.
Q9. What is the process of selecting the final Design Firm?
A9. The selection process is based on a process outlined in the RFP that includes a shortlisting,
interviews and receipt of bids where the College will consider the lowest responsible bidder.
Q10. Who will award the contract?
A10. The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey will award the contract.
Q11. Will the College be hiring any other consultants to working with the A/E Design Team?
A11. All sub-consultants that the A/E Consultant plans to use for this work are to be included as part of
the A/E Team. Currently, the College only intends to hire an independent Commissioning Agents
separately. However, the A/E Consultant should carry an allowance for commissioning in the total
project budget. In fact, all project costs should be identified in the total project budget.
Q12. When do I need to submit all the RFP Legal Requirements?
A12. All the required Legal forms associated with the RFP will be required from the shortlisted firms. The
College will not enter into a contractual agreement with any firm without the filled and completed
legal supporting information outlined in the Bid Checklist.
