Louis T. Barberio, III, a Managing Partner in the Linwood office of Financial Options, Incorporated has been a financial services professional for more than 24 years. He serves a broad spectrum of the financial needs of business owners, retirees, professionals and affluent individuals in South Jersey.
Lou specializes in the areas of estate, business, investment and retirement planning. He maintains a specific focus on retirement income planning. Lou is an Investment Advisor Representative and Registered Representative of Hornor, Townsend & Kent. Lou has received several industry awards including his Lifetime qualification to the Million Dollar Round Table as well as a multiple time qualifier for MDRT's prestigious Court of the Table and achieving MDRT's Top of the Table for 2011. This year Lou joined the MDRT Honor Roll. He has also earned several company awards during his successful career further confirming his commitment to his client's. In 2010, Lou was ranked 17 out of more than 1,000 registered representatives through his broker/dealer in GDC production. This qualified him to become a member of The Peak Summit Study Group of Hornor, Townsend & Kent. He has the important combination of knowledge, dedication, and compassion. Lou has a keen desire to ascertain his clients lifetime and testamentary financial objectives. He does this through the long-term relationships he builds with his clients embodied by his "serve first" philosophy.
Currently, Lou is a member of the Atlantic County Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Lou represents Financial Options Incorporated as a Member of the Greater Wildwood Hotel & Motel Association, as well as the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce.
Lou is currently an instructor teaching the Financial Strategies for a Successful Retirement
course at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and Cumberland County Community
College. In his spare time, Lou can be found coaching and teaching young people in his
community the importance of sportsmanship and team unity. Lou is active with various
charitable organizations and currently serves on the boards of both the Mr. & Mrs. Fred Winslow Noyes Foundation as well as the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City. He recently served and mentored for the 2013 Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year program. He is a member of UNICO's Atlantic City Chapter and he is active in his church teaching CCD classes for St. Gianna Beretta Molla in Northfield, New Jersey. Lou also served on the AtlantiCare Gala committee for 2013 assisting in the planning and organizing of their premier fundraising event. He attended the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he completed the "Retirement Income Planning" program. Recognized as one of the premier programs in the country for advisors focusing in the field of retirement planning. Lou earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from William Paterson University.
Lou and his wife Inez have two children and live in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.
