DIVISION OF CONTINUING STUDIES

The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey Mission Statement points to helping students develop the capacity for continuous learning and to educational opportunities that respond to state and regional needs. The Division of Continuing Studies contributes to the College’s mission by promoting opportunities for professional development and life-long learning to the regional professional and lay community. The Division of Continuing Studies encompasses two offices:

Whether you are a small or large company, non-profit or community agency, health services organization or state, county, or municipal government, you will find the Stockton College Continuing Studies team your one-stop partner for all of your training, consulting, technical assistance and research needs.  

Health Sciences and Human Services (HSHS)

HSHS provides continuing professional education for Addictions Counselors, Gerontologists, Licensed Professional Counselors, Marital and Family Therapists, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Public Health Professionals, Social Workers, Speech Pathologists and Audiologists, and other Health Sciences and Human Services professionals.

All professional development offerings are developed to accrediting body standards and requirements for professional accreditation / reaccreditation. Check course schedules for CE /CEU approvals for each course.

Management Development and Professional Services (MDPS)

MDPS provides three service lines for the corporate community, large non-profits, and governmental entities outside of the health sciences or human services area. These include continuing education and training, business / technical consulting, and custom research services. Internship and research opportunities for students are offered. Interested faculty / staff can become service providers and researchers. Other (outside) vendors also are hired to conduct training, consulting and research, as needed.
