Transcripts

  1. How can I obtain an Official Transcript?

    Currently attending students may request an Official Transcript from the Registration Tools box in the Student Services tab in goStockton

    Former students may request an Official Transcript online, but will need to first obtain their Student ID and PIN to set up and log on to their online account.  Complete and submit the Student ID & PIN Request form.  Once the form is processed, login information (with instructions)  to immediatley access your account will sent via email.   NOTE:  If you attended prior to the fall of 1989 please read #7 below.

    Students requesting transcripts for the Department of Education for teaching certification may complete the Official Transcript Request for Teacher Certification form and submit it to our office for processing.

    Requests will not be processed for persons with outstanding obligations to the college.  
     
  2. How can I obtain an Unofficial Transcript?
    Unofficial Transcripts can be accessed as indicated in #1 above, unless you attended prior to the fall of 1989.  
     
  3. What is the difference between an Official Transcript and an Unofficial Transcript?
    An Official Transcript contains an official seal from the college and can be used for employment purposes, applying to graduate school or transferring to another institution.  An Unofficial Transcript can be printed by the student from the web and is primarily used for personal reasons.
     
  4. What does it cost for a transcript?
    There is no cost for transcripts.  However, there is a $10 fee per transcript for urgent requests (see #6 below).
     
  5. How long will it take to have my request processed?
    Transcript requests made online are printed and mailed daily.  Please allow 5-7 business days for receipt as they are sent regular mail through the U.S. Post Office.  Processing times may be longer at the beginnng and end of the semester.  If you need an Official Transcript immediately, see question #6 below.
     
  6. What if I need an official transcipt immediately?
    There is a $10 fee for urgent transcript requests.  Complete and submit the Official Transcript Request form after payment has been made.  Transcripts will be processed the same day if received by the Registrar before 12:00pm; requests received after 12:00pm will be processed the next business day.
     
  7. I attended prior to 1989,  and my records are not in the computer system?  Can I have them converted?
    Transcripts for students who attended Stockton before the fall of 1989 may not be available online.  Complete and submit the Official Transcript Request form.  Students who wish to have their transcripts converted to the online system with a GPA will need to make a written request. Please contact the Registar's Office directly (609-652-4235) for more information.  Please allow 10 business days for all record conversions.
