Sustainability Initiative

Stockton Action Volunteers for the Environment (S. A. V. E.) began in 1974 as a small group of students concerned about social justice and environmental issues, and is the oldest student-run environmental organization in the state. All Stockton students are welcome.

Water Watch/Energy Corps. is a joint project between NJPIRG, AmeriCorps, and the Stockton community. After 15 years of diligent and successful work on water quality issues under the NJPIRG/AmeriCorps Water Watch program, the grant was rewritten for the 2009/2010 school year to focus on energy efficiency and as a result, Energy Service Corps was born. This year, with the best interest of the club and our community at heart, we decided to combine programs and reinvent ourselves as Water Watch/Energy Corps.
