Vera King Farris Drive Closure To End Later This Week

UPDATE (June 18, 2012):

Be advised that Vera King Farris Drive will remain closed until  this Friday, June 22, at 4:30 p.m.  It will reopen on June 23 and will remain open through July 12 for new student orientation. 

 

Future roadway closures should be expected following orientation in order to complete the final phase of the project.

 

You will be able to get to the main campus by following the detour signs and instructions below:

 

  • If entering the College from Jimmie Leeds Road, the detour will take you down Louisville Ave. into Parking Lot #7. Turn Right into Parking lot #6 and follow the road around to the Sports Center and Campus Center.

 

  • Note that you will not be able to access the main campus, Sports Center, PAC, or Housing 2 &3 from the Pomona Road entrance to the College.  You will be required to detour around the College, by following Pomona Road (CR575) north, to Duerer Street (first stop sign/blinking yellow light). Make a left on Duerer Street and follow it to Jimmie Leeds Road, (stop sign) and make a left turn on Jimmie Leeds Road to the College’s main entrance. Follow signage to the main campus down Louisville Ave.
