Fourth Annual G. Larry James Legacy Fund Bike Ride Takes Place This Saturday

 

The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey will host the popular G. Larry James Legacy Fund Bike Ride to support scholarships for deserving students this Saturday, June 16. Riders are required to wear a helmet and should congregate at the Campus Center, 101 Vera King Farris Drive, in Galloway. On-line registration is closed, but on-site registration begins at 6:45 a.m. Saturday with the ride starting at 8 a.m.  T-Shirts and lunch to all riders.  Shirt sizes not guaranteed.

 

Riders have distance options of 14, 32 or 62 (metric century) miles. The scenic, flat, out-and-back course has low vehicular traffic and passes through New Jersey’s beautiful Pinelands National Reserve.


All proceeds from the event benefit scholarships. Those wishing to provide additional contributions may do so on-line by visiting
www.stockton.edu and clicking on the “Give” option. All riders raising $150 or more in pledges by the day of the ride will receive a gift certificate to a local restaurant.
