 Congratulations to Spring 2013 Honors Graduates!

  • Lynn Abrahamsen will be attending Kean University.
  • Somyi Baek will be starting the Ph.D. program in Mathematics at the University of Minnestoa, Twin Cities.
  • Katie Baker will be teaching English with Ameson Year in China.
  • Cole Bechtold is graduating with a degree in Marine Science.
  • Joseph Boegemann will be attending graduate school in Communication Disorders.
  • Kyra Fetrow is graduating with a degree in Mathematics.
  • Barbara Fisher will spend a year in Czechoslovakia on a Fulbright Fellowship then attend graduate school at the University of Rochester.
  • Brad Hartman is graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Economics.
  • Melissa Ihle is graduating with a degree in Literature.
  • Kathleen Kernan is graduating with a degree in Biochemistry.
  • Erin Kesel is graduating with a degree in Psychology.
  • Jenna Kinter is graduating with a degree in Nursing. 
  • Melissa Lyon will attend graduate school at James Madison University.
  • David Martinez will be attending graduate school in Psychology.
  • Katie Mount is graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Criminal Justice.
  • Unnati Patel will be attending graduate school at Drexel University.
  • Kevin Reilly is graduating with a degree in Literature.
  • Frank Saunders will be attending graduate school at Hong Kong University.
  • Laura Sirak will be attending graduate school at the University of New England.
  • Megan Songprasit will be attending medical school.
  • Brittany Strevell will be attending medical school at UMDMJ.
  • Kelsey Watkins will be attending the graduate program in Physical Therapy at Stockton College.

Honors Student Chosen as Valedictorian

Honors student Lynn Abrahamsen will be the Valedictorian at the morning graduation on Saturday, May 11, 2013. Lynn is a Communication Disorders major, and she will be attending graduate school at Kean University in the fall.

On April 26, 2013, Lynn presented her internship, "A Day in the Life of a Speech Language Specialist: My Experiences as a Student Clinician at the George L. Hess Educational Complex"  


Honors Student Awarded Fulbright

Honors student Barbara Fisher has been awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to teach English in Czechoslovakia. Read all about it on Stockton's webpage.

In 2012, Barbara presented her research at the Northeast Regional Honors Conference in Baltimore, MD.  


NRHC Presentations, Philadelphia 

Nine Honors students presented their research at the 2013 annual meeting of the Northeast Regional Honors Council (NRHC), in Philadelphia, April 8-9, 2013.

They worked hard to prepare for this experience, first presenting their work at Stockton's annual Day of Scholarship on March 21.
