The primary medium for communications regarding these RFP'S shall be via the internet. The RFP, Required Forms, Addendums, Questions and Answers can, in most cases, be accessed on the website. It is the responsibility of the Respondent to monitor the website for any changes, additions, clarifications, cancellations, etc. as related to these RFP'S.

All questions must be received in writing by email or Fax to rfp-purchasing@stockton.edu / Fax # (609)626-3801) in the Purchasing Department by the deadline posted in the RFP/bid. Respondents must have no verbal communication with any University Personnel, Architects, Engineers or Consultants on the RFP/Bid prior to the RFP/Bid opening.

K-Wing HVAC Renovations 

Project Description:

The University seeks a Contractor to renovate the heating, ventilating and air conditions (HVAC) systems serving rooms K203b - President's Office and room K203k - Conference Room.

Building 32 Cooling Tower Replacement Project

Project Description:

The University seeks a Contractor to demolish, remove and replace the three (3) existing cooling towers which serve Building 32 with three (3) new cooling towers. The existing pump system shall be reused and rebalanced and the Contractor shall provide and install all new controls as specified, connected to existing Trane Building Management System (BMS) in addition to all electrical work associated with the installation as well as the addition of new heat trace as specified.

Building 31 Boiler Replacement 

Project Description:

The University seeks a Contractor to demolish, remove and replace the existing boiler serving Building 31 with three (3) new condensing boilers. The existing boiler stack shall also be replaced with a new boiler exhaust system. The Contractor shall provide and install all pumps, values, piping, gauges, etc. to provide a complete system that is completely integrated with all new controls as specified, connected to existing Trane Building Management System (BMS) in additional to all electrical work associated with the installation of the new boiler and pumps.

USC 1 Chiller Replacement Project

Project Description:

The Contractor shall furnish all labor and materials to replace the existing 600 ton chiller with a new 500 ton chiller in the existing Unified Science Center 1.  The contractor shall perform this project as per all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building management controls, architectural, acoustical design/contract documents.  This project also includes the creation of tube pull space and additional maintenance clearance for the new chiller in the form of a new overhead door in the penthouse.  In addition to the new 500 ton centrifugal chiller and variable frequency drive, a 5 ton split system to cool the penthouse is included.  The contractor shall be responsible for all aspects of the removal and salvaging of existing 600 ton chiller, the addition of roof rails or other means by which to remove and install the chillers from the penthouse of the Unified Science Center.

Pre-Bid Meeting:  A pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 10:00 AM  in the West Quad Building on the University's main campus, in Classroom 123. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.  Please allow sufficient time to find parking.

  • As Parking and traffic can be congested at times please plan to arrive early enough for any scheduled pre-bid meetings or bid submissions.
  • Parking on campus is available to commuters in Lots #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, 2 rows in #7(nearest N-Wing), North Lot, and the North Athletic Fields on Pomona Road.
  • Campus citations will be issued to non-residential vehicles parked in the residential lots.
  • We ask all non-residential community members that if you cannot find a parking space in Lots #1 through #7, please utilize the North Lot or the North Athletic Fields on Pomona Road (if North Lot is full and Campus Police are directing cars there) and take the Stockton Shuttle to the main campus.
