How do I view the full schedule of events?
Click on the link below and type in “osprey16” where it says “redeem code.” You can also load the Guidebook app and type “osprey16” where it says “enter passphrase.”
How do I know which sessions to attend since some are offered at multiple times?
Groups have been assigned according to your residence or status at the institution. Guidebook will indicate what time slot you are required to attend by reading the title of the program or by clicking on “Group Rotation.” In addition, you will be assigned a upper-class student member of T.A.L.O.N.S. and an R.A. who have been trained to guide you through the Welcome Week programs and answer any questions you may have before starting class.
What is a Passport Event?
Attendance at Passport Events is tracked and tabulated. If you attend ALL marked Passport Events you will receive a free Stockton Stadium Blanket at the Slumber Party Movie.
When do I get my Stockton ID Card?
Residential Students will receive their ID at housing check in. Commuter students will need to pick up their ID card the first day Welcome Week Friday, September 2nd. Times and location are located in the on Guidebook schedule. Students that do not pick up their ID during Welcome Week can get their ID from Student Records located on the second floor of the Campus Center.
What if I can’t attend a mandatory event?
Students may send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with their name, z number and reason for not attending. Students who are not in attendance will have their information sent to the respective office coordinating the event and that office will follow up accordingly.
Do commuter students and transfer students need to attend Welcome Week?
Yes, all new students need to attend Welcome Week. There are specific programs for both commuters and transfer students. Please refer to the Guidebook schedule for times and locations.
Do I need to attend Welcome Week if I am over the age of 25?
Yes, however, there is a special program designed for students 25 years of age and over. This program is by email invitation only and supersedes all other Welcome Week programs.
Is there a shuttle for Seaview and Chris Gaupp residents?
Yes, the shuttle schedule is posted in Guidebook and will also be posted in the entrance areas of these residential facilities.
How can I receive special physical accommodations for these events?
Questions may be directed to the Office of Event Services and Campus Center Operations.
