One of the most pressing issues that parents and students are concerned with is cost: how much will it cost to study abroad?
While this can be an intimidating process, if you keep in mind all of the different options presented to you, cost can be projected to include every expense, in addition to keeping a trip as cost efficient as possible. This page provides you with information on making cost a manageable endeavor, so that you can focus on the more exciting aspects of studying abroad.
When you decide to study abroad, you will meet with our office to complete a cost sheet, available for download from the online application. This cost sheet is used to project costs for your ENTIRE study abroad experience, with the hope of leaving no hidden costs or fees.
Some key things that will affect your cost:
- Destination- Where you go affects how much it will cost.
- Provider- Some providers are more expensive than others, because they provide additional excursions for no cost.
- When- The time you go will affect how much it costs. Summers are generally cheaper than Semesters, BUT, there is no financial aid associated with summer sessions.
- Stockton will only charge you a $200 application fee; the rest of your planned spending during a semester (only) can be applied towards studying abroad.
There are Study Abroad experiences to fit every student's budget, from as close as semester cost at Stockton to more pricer options.
