FinEd Reviews

FinEd

An independent, moderated website for teachers, by teachers.

Why FinEd Reviews?

There are thousands of available lessons and teaching materials in financial literacy!  How can you choose?

FinEd Money TreeCurricular providers have included banks, credit unions, Wall Street investment companies, government agencies and regulators, the Federal Reserve of the United States and its branches, credit card companies, publishers, game developers, media companies, Certified Financial Planners, financial educators, non-profit foundations, and former and current teachers.  That is where FinEd Reviews can be of assistance.  The objective of FinEd Reviews is to serve as an independent resource to help you weed through the selections.

FinEd Reviews is a moderated website for P/K - 12 teachers and adult trainers in financial literacy and capabilities.  The tagline For Teachers, By Teachers means that teachers across the U.S. have a portal to share evaluations of best products and practices to aid the selection of free- and fee-based lessons and programs related to financial education.

A Resource List of Materials Reviewed and for Review

The Stockton Center for Economic and Financial Literacy maintains a list of lessons, programs, games, and simulations for use in teaching and training.  You may consult the list to scan and locate lessons or to see what curricular materials to review.  Our list of resources by grade level is under the Resource Lists on the left hand side of our page.  Most of the lessons are available online and free.

Please help other teachers and trainers by reviewing a resource such as a lesson.  If you are interested in recommending a resource for the list or reviewing a resource to benefit teachers and trainers, contact Deb.Figart@stockton.edu.

Please Support FinEd Reviews

We encourage organizations and foundations to consider donations/partnerships to sustain FinEd Reviews and further develop the site.  For information about a tax-deductible contribution, please contact the Project Manager.
