Head Men's Coach
: Jayson Resch
Richard Stockton College alumnus Jayson Resch was named to the position of Coordinator of Cross Country and Track & Field/Head Cross Country Coach/ Head Men’s Track & Field Coach in May 2012.

Resch coaches the men’s and women’s cross country teams and the men’s track team as well as overseeing all aspects of the cross country and track & field programs for the Ospreys.

Resch came to Stockton after a three-year stint as assistant track & field coach at California University (PA) from 2009-12. The Tuckerton, New Jersey native also possesses college coaching experience from three years as the head cross country and track & field coach at Clarion University from 2006-09. Resch’s coaching career began with one season as an assistant at Barnegat High School in 2006.

Resch competed in cross country and track & field during an impressive career as a student-athlete at Stockton. He reached the pinnacle of his success by earning All-American status in the 400m with an eighth-place finish at the 1999 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Resch was a three-time NCAA qualifier in the 400m as well as the 1998 NJAC champion in the 400m and 800m. His time of 1:54.43 in the 800m that year still stands as the Stockton record for the event.

While attending Stockton, Resch also participated in the Army ROTC program through Princeton University. After earning his criminal justice degree from Stockton, he performed a five-year stint as an officer in the United States Army. During that time, Resch served tours overseas in Qatar and South Korea before he was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain. Resch has since obtained a second bachelor’s degree, in secondary education, plus a master’s degree in exercise science

Head Women's Coach: Todd Curll
Todd Curll has been involved with track and field since 1985. He is originally from Lansdale, PA where he competed for North Penn High School. As a competitor, Curll placed fourth in the pole vault at the Pennsylvania State Track Meet with a personal best of 14'9". He began his coaching as top assistant and jumps coach at Cumberland Valley High School in Mechanicsburg, PA. After three successful years, Curll left Pennsylvania to join the Stockton staff.

Being a decathlete himself in college, Curll has a vast knowledge of many events but his specialty is the pole vault. While at Stockton, he has coached Kim Marino to NCAA indoor and outdoor championships in 2003 and helped Marino, Eric Reissek and Jake Owens become All-Americans in the pole vault. His vaulters also have consistently won or placed in the CTC, ECAC and NJAC meets. Curll strongly believes that hard work and dedication are the keys to success.

Assistant Coach: Kevin Chandler

Kevin Chandler has been coaching at Stockton for 23 years, first as a volunteer, then, as an assistant coach. He is a ' hands-on' coach and an enthusiast on throwing technique, drills, plyometrics, and strength and conditioning. Chandler's throwers have won individual championships in the weight throw, shot put, hammer throw, discus and javelin. He has coached a total of 18 NJAC champions, 15 CTC champions and two ECAC champions as well as four NCAA qualifiers including 2006 All-American Audra Schappell. His motto both in the weight room and on the throwing field is "last set, best set, last throw, best throw!"

Assistant Coach: Chris Huch
Former Osprey high jumper Chris Huch joins the Stockton coaching staff for the 2011-12 season. Huch won the NJAC high jump championship indoors in 2006 and outdoors in 2009, earning NJAC First Team honors both times. He finished his career as a student-athlete at Stockton with a total of seven NJAC all-conference honors in the high jump, four indoors and three outdoors. Huch also qualified for NJAC All-Academic Honorable Mention kudos twice.
