Stockton Women Third, Men Fifth at NJAC Championships |

Results Abad Akhtar (Brigantine/Atlantic City) was the lone event winner for the Stockton men’s team, capturing the 5000m (15:39.23). Chris Huch (Tuckerton/Pinelands) finished second in the high jump (1.98m) while Demetrius Rooks (Galloway/Absegami) placed second and set a school record in the 400m (49.01 seconds). The women’s 4x800 relay of Robyn Evangelist (Northfield/ Mainland), Katherine Rudy (Bound Brook/Bound Brook), Rachel Carlson (Mullica Twp./Oakcrest) and Nicole Salge (Spotswood/Spotswood) also earned second place and set a school record (10:18.50). Evangelist placed third and set a school record in the mile (5:26.67) as well. Meredith Malloy (Hamilton/Hamilton West) was third in the 5000m (19:14.84) for the Ospreys. Rachel Joseph (Livingston/Livingston) finished third in the pole vault (3.35m) and Amanda Williams (Williamstown/Williamstown) was third in the high jump (1.53m). Ben Hammond (Williamstown/Williamstown) placed third in the triple jump (13.63m) for the Stockton men’s team. |
