Results
Richard Stockton senior Lisa Shepherd (Mays Landing/ Oakcrest) became an All-American for the fifth time in her illustrious career by tying for third place in the high jump at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. With a best jump of 1.66 meters, Shepherd finished as part of a three-way tie for third out of 16 competitors. She cleared each of the first three heights (1.56m, 1.61m, 1.66m) on her first attempt before bowing out of the competition with three misses at 1.69 meters.

Shepherd has earned All-American honors in all five of her NCAA Championship appearances, two indoor and three outdoor. She joined Kim Marino as the only Stockton female track & field student-athletes to achieve All-American honors five times. Shepherd has finished second twice, tied for third twice and eighth in her five NCAA meets. The senior will have an opportunity for a sixth All-American nod if she qualifies for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships this spring.
