Richard Stockton (2-4) began its stay in Florida by splitting a doubleheader with Nichols College (MA). The Ospreys won the opener 3-0 but dropped the nightcap 7-2. Chris Cirlincione (Monroe Twp./Monroe Twp.) pitched a five-hit shutout with five strikeouts in the first game. Mike Wasco (Riverside/Riverside) went 3-4 with two solo home runs and Chris Discher (Cherry Hill/CH West) was 2-4 with a double and a run scored.

Wasco led off the sixth inning with a homer that snapped a 0-0 tie and gave Stockton the lead. The Ospreys scored two insurance runs in the seventh as Wasco added another solo blast after Discher had doubled, advance to third on a flyout and scored on a wild pitch.

In game two, Joe Farrell (Longport/Holy Spirit) went 2-2 including an RBI single in the second inning. Nick Scalise (Northfield/Mainland) was 2-3 with a run scored and Wasco went 1-3 with a double, RBI and a run scored. Stockton made three errors in the contest and Nichols scored at least one run in six of its seven offensive turns to defeat the Ospreys 7-2.
