Richard Stockton (6-4) swept a doubleheader from SUNY New Paltz by scores of 6-5 and 11-4. In the opener, Marc Asta (Jackson/Jackson) scored the game-winning run on a passed ball in the bottom of the seventh after doubling and advancing to third on a wild pitch. Asta went 3-4 with three doubles and two RBI while Chris Wedding (Toms River/TR East) was 2-3 with an RBI in the one-run Stockton victory.

The Stockton offense broke out with 11 runs on 13 hits in the nightcap. Wedding was 3-4 with two RBI and Chris Discher (Cherry Hill/CH West) went 3-4 with two runs. Mike Wasco (Riverside/Riverside) finished 2-3 with a double and three RBI for the Ospreys. Winning pitcher Mark Crescenzi (Pedricktown/Pennsgrove) allowed four runs (one unearned) on eight hits with five strikeouts in six innings pitched.
