Richard Stockton (4-4, 0-2) was unable to keep with Farmingdale State (10-3, 3-0) as the Rams used an eight-goal outburst to defeat the Ospreys 17-7 in a Skyline Conference game. Matt Bell (Jackson/Jackson) paced Stockton with two goals and three assists while Brent Effenberger (Toms River/Msgr. Donovan) contributed a goal and an assist. Stockton goalkeeper Pete Marcelliano (Morristown/West Morris Mendham) recorded 18 saves.

After Brendan McCarthy (Howell/Howell) and Sean Haugh (Holland, PA/Council Rock South) netted consecutive goals to give Stockton a 2-1 lead, Farmingdale State responded with eight straight tallies for an insurmountable 9-2 advantage. The Ospreys went scoreless for 17:22 before Mike Velez (Barnegat/Barnegat) finally ended the drought with 10:17 left in the third quarter, but Stockton could not overcome the large deficit and fell 17-7.
