Stockton Rows in Knecht Cup

Richard Stockton rowed at the Knecht Cup in Camden, where the Ospreys competed in the women’s DIII varsity eight and women’s DIII second varsity eight. In the varsity eight, Stockton placed third in its heat with a time of 7:58.50 that was sixth-fastest overall and good enough for a spot in the final, where the Ospreys finished sixth at 7:48.92. Stockton placed fourth in the only second varsity eight race with a time of 9:00.02.

The Stockton varsity eight consisted of coxswain Ariel Hernandez (Hammonton/ Hammonton) with Ceili Bachman (Lincoln, PA/Avon Grove), Chelsey Barber (Cape May CH/Cape May Tech), Stephanie French (Edgewater Park/Burlington Twp.), Laura Grow (Bensalem, PA/Archbishop Ryan), Barbara Fisher (Westville/Gateway), Alexandra Mankofsky (Wyckoff/ Ramapo), Stephanie Roth (Millstone Twp./St. John Vianney) and Melanie Whalen (Long Valley/West Morris Central).
