Richard Stockton (13-14, 3-6) was overwhelmed 10-1 by College of New Jersey (13-13, 6-3) in an NJAC road game. Mike Wasco (Riverside/Riverside) went 2-3 with a triple and a run scored while Matt Allen (Salem/Woodstown) was 2-4 as the duo accounted for four of Stockton’s six hits in the game. Wasco tripled and scored on a groundout in the second inning for the Ospreys’ only run of the contest.

TCNJ sandwiched two runs apiece around Stockton’s tally in the second frame for a 4-1 lead. The Lions added six more runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings for a 10-1 score. Stockton threatened in the sixth inning as Wasco and Allen both singled with one out, but they were stranded and the Ospreys managed just one run in the defeat.
