Stockton Battles Rutgers-Camden in Dual Races

Richard Stockton competed in a pair of head-to-head races with Rutgers-Camden on the Cooper River. The Ospreys cruised to victory in the varsity eight, winning by 46 seconds with a time of 7:53.28 for 2000 meters. Stockton did not fare as well in the varsity four as the Ospreys posted a time of 7:10.37 for 1500 meters but fell to Rutgers-Camden.

The winning varsity eight squad for Stockton consisted of Ceili Bachman (Lincoln, PA/Avon Grove), Chelsey Barber (Cape May CH/Cape May Tech), Stephanie French (Edgewater Park/Burlington Twp.), Laura Grow (Bensalem, PA/Archbishop Ryan), Barbara Fisher (Westville/Gateway), Alexandra Mankofsky (Wyckoff/ Ramapo), Stephanie Roth (Millstone Twp./St. John Vianney) and Melanie Whalen (Long Valley/West Morris Central) with coxswain Ariel Hernandez (Hammonton/ Hammonton).
