Richard Stockton (15-15, 5-7) scored eight runs in the third inning and Chris Cirlincione (Monroe Twp./Monroe Twp.) pitched eight strong innings en route to a 14-3 victory over The College of New Jersey (15-15, 8-5). All of the runs were scored with two outs in the frame. Matt Allen (Salem/Woodstown) and Dan McGuckin (Sicklerville/Winslow Twp.) were the hitting stars for Stockton with four hits each.

Allen drove in two runs with a ringing double off the center field fence and two batters later, McGuckin slammed a two-run homer to ignite the big inning. McGuckin finished with four RBI for the game. Chris Wedding (Toms River/TR East) added a two-run single in the third frame.

Nick Scalise (Northfield/Mainland) chipped in with three hits while Wedding, Chris Discher (Cherry Hill/CH West) and Marc Asta (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) added two hits apiece in the 20-hit assault. Cirlincione was masterful, inducing 12 ground outs and striking out four for his second win of the season.
