Richard Stockton (18-15, 8-7) dominated Rutgers-Camden (18-17, 6-9) 13-2 for its fourth consecutive win, with all four coming in NJAC play. Nick Scalise (Northfield/Mainland) led Stockton’s explosion by going 4-5 with a double and four RBI while Chris Wedding (Toms River/TR East) was 3-5 with two runs scored. Matt Allen (Salem/Woodstown) extended his hitting streak to nine by going 3-5 with three runs and two RBI.

Stockton took a 1-0 lead on an RBI groundout by Mike Wasco (Riverside/Riverside) in the first inning and broke the game open with five runs in the fifth. Wasco earned another RBI with a sacrifice fly, followed by run-scoring singles from Allen and Marc Asta (Jackson/ Jackson). Scalise capped the big inning with an RBI double for a 6-0 lead.

Rutgers-Camden got on the board with a run in the top of the sixth but Stockton answered with three more runs in the bottom half. Allen and Scalise each hit RBI singles as the Ospreys increased their lead to 9-1 on the way to the 13-2 victory. Stockton scored 13 runs on 17 hits while Rutgers-Camden registered 12 hits but left 15 men on base in the game. Winning pitcher Bryan Frank (Toms River/TR East) allowed two runs on nine hits with five strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings on the mound.
