Richard Stockton (18-16, 8-8) rallied from a three-run deficit to tie the game and force extra innings before falling to Kean (26-10, 11-5 NJAC) 7-3 in 12 frames. The loss snapped Stockton’s four-game winning streak. Matt Allen (Salem/Woodstown) extended his hitting streak to 10 games and finished 3-5 with a double, run scored and an RBI. Barry Larro (Cedarville/ Cumberland) and Dan McGuckin (Sicklerville/Winslow Twp.) each went 2-5 for the Ospreys.

Kean scored once in the first inning and increased its lead to 3-0 in the third frame. Stockton got on the board on an RBI double by Nick Scalise (Northfield/Mainland) in the fifth inning. The Ospreys tied the game at 3-3 in the bottom of the eighth when Allen doubled in a run and then scored on a single by Marc Asta (Jackson/Jackson). The teams battled through three scoreless innings before Kean broke the tie with four runs in the 12th stanza for the 7-3 final score.
