Boxscore
Richard Stockton (21-19) scored five runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to erase a four-run deficit as the Ospreys came from behind to defeat Rutgers-Camden 7-6 in the semifinals of the ECAC Metro tournament. Marc Asta (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) led the way with three hits, with Dan McGuckin (Sicklerville/Winslow Twp.), Nick Scalise (Northfield/ Mainland) and Jason Gordon (Brick/Brick Memorial) chipping in with two apiece. Stockton pounded out 13 hits in the victory.

The Ospreys were down 6-2 until the bottom of the seventh inning. Matt Allen (Salem/Woodstown) drove a two-run homer, his fourth of the season, to right field to cut the lead to 6-4. RBI singles by Scalise, Joe Farrell (Longport/Holy Spirit) and Gordon capped the inning that saw 10 Stockton batters at the plate and five runs score in the frame for a 7-6 lead.

John Lightbody (Toms River/Toms River East) later came in to pick up his third save of the season by pitching a perfect ninth inning in relief of Mark Crescenzi (Pedricktown/Penns Grove). Crescenzi earned the win, allowing two runs on four hits with one strikeout in three innings on the mound.
