Richard Stockton freshman Demetrius Rooks (Galloway/ Absegami) finished 11th overall out of 17 competitors in the 400m dash preliminaries at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Rooks posted a time of 48.62 seconds and placed fifth in heat number three of the event. The rookie failed to qualify for the 400m dash final, which included the top eight runners from the preliminaries.
