Men's Results / Women's Results
Richard Stockton senior Lisa Shepherd (Mays Landing/ Oakcrest) and freshman Demetrius Rooks (Galloway/ Absegami) each earned All-American honors on the final day of the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships at Baldwin-Wallace College. Shepherd finished third out of 20 competitors in the women’s high jump with a best jump of 1.70 meters. Rooks placed sixth in the 400 hurdles final with a time of 52.89 seconds.

In the final meet of her career, Shepherd collected her sixth All-American nod (four outdoor, two indoor), becoming the most decorated Stockton female track & field performer in school history. Shepherd surpassed Kim Marino, who earned All-American honors five times in the pole vault from 2002-04. The senior achieved All-American status by finishing eighth or better in the high jump in all six of her NCAA Championship appearances.

Rooks captured All-American status in his first trip to the NCAA Championships, giving the Stockton men’s outdoor track & field program its 35th All-American honor all-time and first since Paul Klemic (high jump, long jump, 110m hurdles) and Jake Owens (pole vault) in 2006.
