Richard Stockton (1-0) opened the 2010 season with a 5-2 victory over Manhattanville at G. Larry James Stadium. Rafael Duarte (Ocean City/Ocean City) led the Osprey attack with two goals and an assist, followed by Clay Gashlin (Bayville/Central Regional) with a goal and an assist. Brian Thomsen (Brick/ Msgr. Donovan) and Ali Gocmez (Delran/Delran) netted one goal apiece to complete a trio of newcomers who scored in their first game at Stockton.

After Manhattanville took an early 1-0 lead, Thomsen got the Ospreys on the board with an assist by Duarte at 23:31. Gashlin put Stockton on top 2-1 with a helper from Brennen Fitzsimmons (Neptune/ Neptune) and the Ospreys led by one at the half.

Duarte scored his first goal of the night assisted by Kyle Evans (Seaville/Ocean City) just 1:19 into the second half for a 3-1 lead. Manhattanville pulled within 3-2 at 55:07, but Duarte struck again with an assist from Gashlin seven minutes later for a 4-2 score. Gocmez, a freshman, closed the scoring with his first college goal to seal the 5-2 victory.
