Boxscore
Richard Stockton’s first home game on its new synthetic turf field was spoiled by Swarthmore (2-0), who edged the Ospreys (0-3) 2-1 on penalty strokes. For Stockton, Nancy White (Ocean City/Ocean City) scored a goal for the third consecutive game. White has three of Stockton’s four markers this season. Stockton goalie Debi O’Kane (Cologne/ Absegami) recorded six saves and Danielle Morris (Millstone/ Allentown) notched a defensive save.

Nearly 12 minutes later, Swarthmore struck for the tying goal. Neither team broke through for the game-winner in the next 18 minutes of regulation plus two 15-minute overtimes. Nikki Moore (Island Hts./Central Regional) was the lone Stockton player out of three to convert a penalty stroke while Swarthmore went 4-4 in the stroke-off to defeat the Ospreys.
