Richard Stockton moved to 2-0 on the season with a 2-1 victory over Wilkes University (1-1) in the second game of the 2010 Stockton Classic. Leah Pocoroba (Galloway/Holy Spirit) and Samantha Bean (Manchester/Manchester Twp.) booted goals early in the second half to lead the Ospreys to victory. Pocoroba’s tally was her second in as many games. Stockton goalkeeper Maria Dorris (Mantua/Clearview) made two saves in notching the win.

After a scoreless first half, the Ospreys exploded for two goals in the first 3:11 of the second half. Pocoroba planted one in the net on an assist by Shelley Gibney (Shamong/Seneca) only 1:55 into the second stanza. Bean followed that with a tally just 1:26 later as Jessica McQuillen (Tabernacle/Seneca) had the assist on the score. Wilkes got the match to within one on a goal from the corner at the 57-minute mark but the Lady Colonels could get no closer as Stockton closed out the 2-1 win.
