Richard Stockton (3-0) remained unbeaten on the young season, defeating New York University (0-3) 4-1 in the second game of the 2010 Stockton Classic. Four different Ospreys scored, all in the first half. Leah Pocoroba (Galloway/Holy Spirit) opened the scoring with a blistering shot from outside the box just 6:55 into the game. Shelley Gibney (Shamong/ Seneca) made it 2-0 on a nice pass from Jessica McQuillen (Tabernacle/Seneca) at 21:59.

Freshman Jessica Balnis (Dorothy/Buena) later scored her first career goal on a rebound from a Julia Logan (Jobstown/ Northern Burlington) shot and then just 2:16 later, Kiera Hines (Deptford/Deptford) closed out the Osprey scoring with a long-distance blast.

The half ended with Stockton leading 4-0 but NYU spoiled the shutout just 32 seconds into the second half. Goalkeeper Maria Dorris (Mantua/Clearview) made two saves in picking up the win, while teammate Brittney Boyle (Pemberton/Pemberton) played the second half, deflecting five shots.
