Richard Stockton (0-1) began the new season at Arcadia (1-0), where the young Osprey team fell to the Knights 3-1. Nancy White (Ocean City/Ocean City), a 2009 NJAC Honorable Mention selection, scored Stockton’s first goal of the season. Stockton goalkeeper Debi O’Kane (Cologne/Absegami) made her 28th consecutive start and recorded seven saves. Freshman Aurora Connor (Haddonfield/Haddonfield) also saw time in goal and made two stops in her first college appearance.

Arcadia got the jump on the Ospreys with an early goal only 1:17 after the start. The Ospreys responded just six minutes later as White deflected home a shot by Alison Paulus (Westampton/Rancocas Valley) on a penalty corner for a 1-1 tie. The deadlock last until well into the second half before the Knights took the lead on a breakaway at 53:20. Arcadia added an insurance goal with nine minutes remaining to seal the 3-1 outcome.
