Boxscore
Richard Stockton (4-1) handed Roanoke College (5-1) its first loss of the season as Rafael Duarte (Ocean City/Ocean City) scored with just 2:04 remaining in the contest, giving the Ospreys a 2-1 win. The result also gave head coach Jeff Haines his 200th career victory. Haines, in his 13th season as Stockton’s coach, has a career record of 200-68-18 for a .731 winning percentage. Stockton goalkeeper Lou Herring (Freehold/Freehold) made two saves for the win.

Kyle Evans (Seaville/Ocean City) broke the scoreless tie with a free kick laser from 45 yards out to put Stockton up 1-0 at 56:36 before Roanoke tied it at 70:59 off a scramble in the box. Duarte’s game-winner came on a 10-yard volley shot off a beautiful centering pass from freshman Kevin Churchill (Newton/Newton), who earned her first career point with the assist. The 2-1 Stockton triumph gave Haines the milestone victory with 200 wins in 285 career games.
