Richard Stockton (0-5) played its fourth road game out of five thus far and fell to Gwynedd-Mercy (2-3) 5-2. For Stockton, junior Stefanie Short (Berlin/Overbrook) and sophomore Nikki Moore (Island Hts./Central Regional) each scored their first career goal. Goalkeeper Debi O’Kane (Cologne/ Absegami) played the first 60 minutes and registered eight saves before giving way to Aurora Connor (Haddonfield/ Haddonfield), who notched two stops in the last 10 minutes of the game.

Gwynedd-Mercy scored twice in the first half and led 2-0 at the break. Moore converted a penalty stroke at 47:34 to pull Stockton within 2-1, but the Griffins responded with a goal of their own on a penalty stroke 7:24 later for a 3-1 advantage. The tally began an outburst of three goals in less than nine minutes as Gwynedd-Mercy put the game out of reach. Short netted a late marker with just three seconds remaining to make the final score 5-2.
