Richard Stockton (4-2-1, 0-1 NJAC) began conference play with a 2-1 defeat to Kean (6-1-1, 1-0) in double overtime. Samantha Bean (Manchester/Manchester Twp.) scored her third goal of the season for the Ospreys. Goalkeeper Brittney Boyle (Pemberton/Pemberton) registered six saves but saw her personal shutout streak end at 226 minutes. The Ospreys outshot Kean 20-17 but the Cougars held an 8-3 advantage in corner kicks.

Bean gave Stockton an early 1-0 lead with a goal just 7:24 into the game and freshman Jacque Becker (Hamilton/Steinert) recorded her first career point with the assist on the play. Kean tied the game at 1-1 just 2:23 later. Neither team could break the deadlock in the next 80 minutes of regulation, forcing overtime. With just one minute left in the second extra session, Kean netted the game-winner to drop Stockton to 0-2-1 in its last three games.
