Richard Stockton (0-8) yielded two goals to SUNY New Paltz (4-4) in the last five minutes that broke a scoreless tie and resulted in a 2-0 defeat for the Ospreys. Stockton goalkeeper Debi O’Kane (Cologne/Absegami) faced an onslaught of 34 shots and gave the Ospreys a chance with 18 saves. Danielle Morris (Millstone/Allentown) also contributed a defensive save for Stockton.

New Paltz scored with just 4:09 remaining to snap the 0-0 tie and the Hawks added an insurance goal two minutes later for the 2-0 final. Offensively, Stockton managed only five shots, led by Susie Balidemaj (Hamilton/Hamilton East) with two, but the Ospreys were shut out for the second time in eight games this season.
