Richard Stockton (15-3, 4-0 NJAC) topped Rutgers-Newark (4-10, 0-3) in four sets 25-8, 23-25, 25-13, 25-11 for its eighth consecutive win. Stephanie Warner (Totowa/Passaic Valley) and Nicole Serekian (Mahwah/Mahwah) spiked 12 kills apiece while Christine Velott (Moorestown/Moorestown) notched 11 kills and 14 digs. Setters Laura Hausman (Bethlehem, PA/Catasauqua) and Kate Berninger (Midland Park/Midland Park) dished 28 and 24 assists respectively.

In the first set, Velott tallied five kills and Christine Astarita (Selden, NY/Newfield) served the last 12 points in a row as Stockton rolled 25-8. Warner slammed five kills in the second set but Rutgers-Newark evened the match, 25-23. Serekian became the focal point of the Stockton offense in the last two sets with a total of nine kills. The Ospreys took control by winning the third frame 25-13. In the fourth set, Berninger served six consecutive points as the Ospreys built a 14-4 lead and closed out the match, 25-11.
