Boxscore
Richard Stockton (6-4, 1-2 NJAC) shut out arch rival Rowan (3-6-2, 0-4) 2-0 for its second victory in three days. Rafael Duarte (Ocean City/Ocean City) scored his team-leading fifth goal of the season and Brian Thomsen (Brick/Msgr. Donovan) contributed his second of the year. Ospreys’ freshman goalkeeper Tim Brett (Palmyra/Palmyra) earned his first career shutout with four saves. Stockton played 52 minutes with an extra man after a Rowan player received his second yellow card late in the first half.

After a scoreless first half, Duarte got Stockton on the board at 60:55 with an assist from Clay Gashlin (Bayville/Central Regional) whose cross went through the goalie’s hands. At the end of the game, the Rowan goalie pushed forward to the offensive end as the Profs tried for the tying goal. Thomsen broke free on a long pass from Kyle Evans (Seaville/Ocean City) and scored into the empty net with just five seconds remaining to seal the 2-0 Stockton victory.
