Richard Stockton (6-5-2, 1-3-1 NJAC) opened a Homecoming weekend soccer doubleheader at Stockton with a 5-2 victory over New Jersey City (8-4, 2-3). Samantha Bean (Manchester/ Manchester Twp.) led the way with two goals as Stockton built a 5-0 lead before surrendering two late Gothic Knights’ tallies. Kiera Hines (Deptford/ Deptford), Leah Pocoroba (Galloway/ Holy Spirit) and Dailey Todd (Millville/Millville) also scored for the Ospreys.

Stockton goalkeeper Sarah Hinkle (Mullica Hill/Paul VI) picked up her second win of the season, making three saves in 66 scoreless minutes. Cara Parliament (Manchester/ Manchester Twp.) also saw action in the Osprey net, knocking away three shots as Stockton recorded its first NJAC victory of the season.

Bridget Connelly (Deptford/Deptford), Devon Betsch (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) and Sarah Dudek (Haddonfield/Haddonfield) each registered their first career point with an assist. Transfer Brianna DeStefano (Williamstown/Williamstown) notched her first point at Stockton while Jacque Becker (Hamilton Twp./Steinert) contributed her third assist of the season as Stockton rolled to the 5-2 win.
