Richard Stockton (9-4-1) extended its unbeaten streak to six games (5-0-1) with a 1-0 shutout of St. Mary’s (MD) (3-8-1) in the second half of a women’s and men’s soccer doubleheader on Homecoming weekend at Stockton. After nearly 83 scoreless minutes, Rafael Duarte (Ocean City/ Ocean City) scored from in close on a Sean Nelson (Toms River/Toms River South) assist with just 7:13 remaining to give the Ospreys their fifth win in the last six contests.

Duarte scored the game-winning goal with less than eight minutes remaining for the second consecutive match. The senior netted a goal for the third straight game, and the marker was his eighth of the season and fifth game-winner, both team highs.

Stockton goalkeeper Tim Brett (Palmyra/Palmyra) picked up his fifth win and second shutout on the season, making three saves. Brett is 5-0-1 with a 0.47 goals against average in his last six games.
